My Kowhai Book

This week we were making books for the Juniors.

I was the author, Joshua and Oliver were the Illustrators.

Our book is about a Kiwi named Kawi, who gets lost while chasing a butterfly, and he meets a Weta named Waitipo, who helps him find his mum. It's the first book I've ever written, and I think that all the new kids in Kowhai will love to read it with their friends and teacher.

The hardest thing was to think of names for Kawi and Waitipo.
The easiest thing was to think of ideas for the story.

Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments.
Positive - something done well
Thoughtful - a sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say
Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
